Hey, I just finished reading this book for English, and it was wonderful. I've never read a book where I felt as much a part of it as I did this one. Twain's use of vernacular is wonderful and isn't too difficult to read, especially compared to some of Faulkner's writings. I never read Tom Sawyer, but plan to soon. I hope this helps you!
