I loved this book. It is a sweet, descriptive story of a young girl who has just lost her father and finds herself crowded and confused by her many relatives (mostly boys, of which she holds an especial dread.). As the story continues, she befriends her active boy cousins, a young orphan servant girl, and wins the hearts of all those who know her...

I didnt really like this book that much i thought it was very shallow, as a big fan of Walden and Thoreau this book didnt do much for me.
