There is little in this book that isn't expected, except the amount of sheer FUN it provides. This is chiefly due to the character of Roger Mifflin, the book seller. Anyone who loves books- particularly classics- will find in his speeches an attitude that deep down we all share-that life is somehow inferior in every way to a good book. The Story laughs at Mifflin,and so does the reader. But we do it with love.rn By all means, read this book.
