Reader ReviewsAdd your own review to this book! eight cousins I think this book should be read by all young girls and ladies as it provides exemplary character building guidelines and a true lively life style which may be hard to adopt in present day but it's a very good piece to be read and idealised. By Megan on July 7, 2007 I loved this book. It is a sweet, descriptive story of a young girl who has just lost her father and finds herself crowded and confused by her many relatives (mostly boys, of which she holds an especial dread.). As the story continues, she befriends her active boy cousins, a young orphan servant girl, and wins the hearts of all those who know her... By Lester Keys on February 8, 2005 I didnt really like this book that much i thought it was very shallow, as a big fan of Walden and Thoreau this book didnt do much for me. |
